Kyle
Kyle, our lovely, gay, optimistic, shapeshifter was there the night of the attack. After hearing the explosions going on around him and seeing the students dieing, he ran to find his sister, Kira. Unable to find her after several minutes, he assumed she had already fled from the school, and so he ran. Once outside the school, he saw that he wasn't going to be able to leave without a fight. Joining other students, he fought for a while, until he was finally able to make it past them, and he fled to Dotado. Now he resides there, mourning for the his fallen friends, and another fallen soul.
Kira
Kira wasn't as lucky as her brother Kyle. She was one of the first to wake from the girl's scream, and was one of the few who actually got up to see what was wrong. Soon after she stood, the explosion knocked her to the ground. Standing quickly, she fled from the dorm, trying to find out what was happening. As she ran down one of the many hallways, another explosion destroyed the wall next to her, and falling debris crushed her as she pushed another student out of the way.
Kylan
Kylan was already awake when the girl screamed. Jumping out of his bed, he quickly ran from the dorm, joining the many students already in the hallway. After the first explosion, Kylan understood was happening. The long awaited war was finally here. Taking a deep, shuddering breath, Kylan ran down the hallway and into the Main Hallway, seeing the first of the soldiers they would undoubtedly have to fight. Clenching his fists, Kylan had caused a great bolt of lightning flash across the sky, followed by the predictable drumming of thunder. For a while he fought, striking down some of the soldiers and causing a tank to blow up from a single bolt of lightning. But tiring quickly, he also fled to Dotado, unable to fight anymore.
Now he resides there with his old friend Kyle. Though the two of them rarely share laughs anymore.
[The other three members of my "Family of K"s were either murdered or killed. Killian was killed by a girl in the Physsel Forest, and Keegan was murdered by a boy at the lake, and Kimi died fighting in the war, when she was distracted by a tank and didn't notice the soldier with the gun that took her life.]
