"H- Have you ever felt like you were meant to do something?" She asked. She had felt that way, for her whole life. But, she never knew what she was meant to be. "I came here to learn. To learn how to control my own powers, I came here to accomplish something I have never been capable to do." She whispered.

She gave a gentle smile, before deciding something. "Hey. Vivian. We should go home. Vampires will be coming out to satisfy themselves. Come on." She said, her voice sounding like it could break at any time. But...she didn't want to leave. She felt happy, at peace.[/size][/ul]

The teen fought the urge to stroke Renoa's long, pink hair.

Instead, he just rested his head on her small shoulder, and twirled a lock in his finger, the same tooth-less smile as always adorning on his face. Vivian was happier than ever, wanting to sit with Renoa right there for the rest of forever. It was simple, and he hadn't had a chance to just... be for a long time. The twinkling stars danced in Vivian's placid eyes.

"Hm?" Vivian's gaze turned from the constellations back to Renoa's crystalline blue eyes. He didn't have to think hard about his answer; he'd known what he had to do for years. "Well," he began softly, trying his best not to shatter the calm aura, "I've always felt that I had to help my late grandfather succeed with his dream." Vivian shrugged and smiled again, continuing to play with Renoa's hair. It was addicting I tell you.

Vivian surpressed a sigh; he didn't want to leave. But, Renoa was probably right, she knew Dotado better than himself. He didn't want any trouble after just arriving in the city. Trouble was a bad thing; most of the time, it resulted in injury one way or another.

"Ok; after you," he said, letting the coral hair fall gently off his finger. Vivian stared at Renoa pleasently for a moment; he had done a lot of staring lately. Slowly, he got up, brushing dirt and grass off of the back of his steel blue jeans before offering a hand to Renoa. "You're right; we should get moving. It's late."

[/i]" Her inner self screamed, as the edges of her lips twitched slightly. She slapped her forehead with her free hand, and let it gently fall back to her side.

Renoa looked back at Vivian constantly, catching herself looking at him more than once. She blushed almost instantly, as she turned her head to the road in front of her. This was only a minor stepping stone. This...was the city of the Gifted.
