Somewhere, deep in the dead and dying Physsel Forest, a small area around a large oak was colored beautiful. It was as if something had came over with a million paints and filled in the lines beautifully. A small pool of water surrounded the great oak tree, leaving it alone on a very small island just big enough for the tree.
The leaves of the surrounding trees and of the great oak granted shade, and allowed small rays of sunlight to dance through and across the emerald grass. Like a lush, green, carpet the grass covered the area. Wildflowers had grown in here and there, bring dashes of reds, blues, purples, and yellows to the scenery.
The large hole in the trunk of the Oak was surrounded by green moss, soft to the touch. The inside was full of grass, vines, and some random flowers. A nest of sorts was seen, a wall around the center of the patch. Inside a small red fox slept in a ball, breathing slowly as it rested. It had been there since late last night.
Here it was now, about 10 in the morning, and a green figure stood by the edge of the crystaline pool of water. A jade finger dipped into the cool liquid, causing a ripple, and then trailed through the water slowly. A few small fish, that had managed to survive, fallowed the finger. Each fish that grew near the soft green finger, gave it a gentle kiss before swimming away as if it were shy.
" Now, now, fear not my aquatic friends. You know I would never harm you." Laughed a kind echoy voice. The woman it belonged to didn't look like a woman at all, but a young teenager of about 16. Oh, how looks can be decieving. She stood, long hair (every shade of green) fell to her ankles with it's golden flowers. Turning, Green eyes looked to the blue sky and a smile formed on the jade lips of Neasa.
In one gentle bound she leapt across the small pond and landed by the oak. With a little help from a large fern, Neasa was sat on a low hanging branch near the knothole. In her off-white dress, she sat comfortably and looked out at the forest. I really do need some more help fixing this place.
A birds eye shot of the forest would show random splotches of green that Neasa had managed to fully revive. The rest were ether dull brown, or gray. Her eyes moved to the leaves above. Light hit them, reveal that instead of her pupil being solid black it had an image of the sun rising over the earth, a space view. A still frame of the sun just barely rising over the curve. She smiled, looking away again.
" A calm day. I wonder if Derek will bring Trinity to find me." Neasa wondered curiously. Already, she missed the young human who she had helped save. Ah, the effects children seemed to have on people.
