A light purple camiosole could be seen from the middle of the woods that lead to the old cassis lake. It was now called Dotado lake, but still held inbetween the old and new towns. Sole eye's looked upon the partly dried lake, seeing th ebarren wastland she barely reemmber being more. With a sigh, she finally made it passeed the cover of the forest and let her form become fully out in the open of the lake.
"Well, I guess alot really has changed since the war. I swear I'll find the goverment officials that killed you brother. I will. Just you wait and see. I will avenge you little brother." Aimee walked around the bottom lining of the lake as she suddenly sat down, not caring to mess up her outfit.

Her soft and gentle footsteps could not reveal her, but the sigh that the siren released upon seeing the lake was what exposed her. "Cassis Lake," she said quietly, brushing golden strands away from her face and behind her ear. Her other hand held the hem of her cotton dress gently, as if to keep it from brushing on the ground despite the fact that it was far too short to do so. In a sun dress of white, there was something angelic about Chesna. It had been ten years since she'd said a quick goodbye to Cassis and everything it held for her, yet she looked as though she hadn't aged a day. She was just as beautiful, though her smile seemed to be fleeting.
"It's all changed so much," she muttered to herself. "The war... it's changed. What more could I expect? I should have known..." She walked cautiously closer to the water's edge, her bare feet treading slowly. She watched where she was stepping as though she was afraid. Her hair moved again, covering her features, but she made no attempt this time at fixing it.

With a simple sigh, her eye's closed remembering back to the war and the day that the missguided bomb hit the house.
*Flashback* "MOM! DAD..WHERE ARE YOU?" She screamed out, being thrown from her bed, she stood up groggily. She screamed out for her parents and was finally able to make it to the hallway where she saw her brothers room door was in shreds and the room on fire.. and dusty. Her parents ran out of their bedrooms seeing the mess and screaming at Aimee to get out. Running as fast as she could, the tremble of other bombs racked their house, knocking Aimee to the ground. The was the last thing she remembered doing before she closed her eye's. Next thing she knew she was being carried out by her mother.
*End flashback*
"I swear..." She let her ragged breath calm down as she opened her eye's again and she looked over to her side and saw another young woman basking in the site of the wrecked lake. Aimee took no quick words to introuduce herself in to the situation, but her lips actually made a smiling motion. What is she doing here? This place is usually empty... O'well.. I guess I could let her know I"m here... With a single swiping motion, she threw her hand in chesna's direction. Instantly, a handful of needles flew in her direction and landed in teh water in front of her. "BE CAREFUL...where you step... I saw glass on the other side of the lake once..... just warning you!" She said to heed the warning would be up to her, but pain is something everyone wants to avoid, unless it's all you've ever felt.

Chesna's almond eyes moved nonchalantly towards the other girl who seemed to be her only company, though her emotion didn't change. She took in the girl, and she thought to herself. So, Cassis was still the haven for gifted that it had been so long ago.
No, not Cassis. Dotado. She would need to remember that. Calling the place "Cassis" would mark her as some one from before the war. She wanted to blend in as well as possible. She didn't want to draw in attention.
"Glass? A shame... This lake was so beautiful when I was last here..." she said, half speaking to herself. Still watching her step, Chesna moved closer to eye her reflection in the water. She was amazed to see that the water hadn't change a bit: the liquid crystal wasn't there in the quantity that it had once been, but Chesna could see herself perfectly in the mirror that seemed to cover the lake.

Aimee watched the girl look at her but her facial expressions didn't change to the new person there. What was going on with her, did she not like the company? It didn't matter to Aimee. With a shrug, she looked back at the lake. SHe didn't notice the pins that she threw towards her, or she just didn't seemed to want to say anything. "Well, the lake still looks similar as it was before, but i'm guessing that someone must have threw glass away... or soemthing. The water is nice though. "So... what brought you down here today?" She asked trying to get a feel for the company that made her way to the lake where she was staying at. She looked the girl up and down. She looked strange, but Aimee shrugged it off to nothing. "Well... Shame what happened to the lake... during the war... Do you even remember the war?"

As if it were an after thought, Chesna said, "The war... I was gone for the war. I remember the lake and how it what when I was here before." So much for fitting in as a new gifted who had been spirited away to Dotado. Her memories of Cassis were flooding back to her, the good and the bad... One person seemed to hold the starring role in her mind whenever she thought of Cassis. Had he even made it out of the war alive?
"It's terrible to think that any one would do something to ruin such a beautiful lake..." Her mind wandered, not thinking of the other girl or her powers or even of herself. Chesna thought of Cassis, of what she had missed, and of the war. Were these the results? Was every beautiful place in Cassis turned mangled and ugly by the war? She didn't doubt it, though she hadn't had much of a chance to look around since her return. A shame, she thought.
