The Marketplace was busy today. People hussling around everywhere, buying certain items before the holiday of scare comes up. People was particularly rude however, bumping passed a blonde haired girl who seemed to be walking slowly. Nothing about her seemed unordinary, but the fact that she didn't have a single bag in her hands meant she was just there for looks. What looks? Long blonde hair, a bodice that looked like it was something from the 16th century, and a glare that could kill anyone who would get in her way.
Black eyeliner enhanced this young womans eye's as she scanned the marketplace, not really looking for anyTHING, but someONE. Her arms came up infront of her in a folded manner, passing a booth that was lush with trees and shrubbery to purchase. Another booth held ceramics to paint and across from it was a concession stand. "Now that I think about it, I havn't eaten anything yet... might as well!" She said aloud to herself walking and getting in the line that held no people, so immediate assistance was given to her.
"Nachos... and a Diet coke, please!" Her voice was low and barely above a whisper.
"What did you say Ma'am?" THe older woman asked trying to figure out what Aimee just said.
"Nachos.. and a DIET coke... please?" She said with a bit more huff tone and turned to see if anyone had heard her. She hated to be 'outspoken' in a crowd. For a few moments she waited for the munchies to get done as she handed her a few dollars to cover the bill and let the stand, shaking her head and mumbling something as she took a bit of the salty chips. "Well, it could be better but hey, I guess you get what you paid for. I wonder... what Ravyn is doing right now?" She immediatly began to think about their first meeting. How strange it was.
She made her way to the park, where she found peacefullness, despite the noisey swing, only to be occompanied by this guy that litterally walked out of the fog. It wasn't like the fog in dreams when people daydream of their love, but actual 'man' made fog. She grinned for a second remembering how they actually started to fight then it all worked out in the end. He was a very good tease, when it came to powers. She couldn't complain though. He actually seemed like someone that she could get to know better, but what luck would it be that he was in the marketplace at all? For her, luck never came often. BUt there was always hope right?

Too loud. Too many people. Ravyn hated to be crowded. His hair fell forward, covering his face, shrowding his thoughts, blocking out the sounds. His eyes were half closed, focusing only on the path ahead of him. It was littered with trash, unclean people threw their garbage down, not looking for a trash can anywhere. He knew the streets would be cleaned when the business died down, and everyone left for their cozy little homes, but the thought disgusted him none the less.
A sneer fought its way past his cool facade. Hethens, the lot of them. The expression cleared as he regained his thoughts. He looked up, remembering what he had come their for. He had realized that visiting the shelter had ended up in an unwanted confrontation . Devon, that asshole. He shook his head, his hair landed smoothly over his shoulder, his smoky silver eyes landed on everyone near him, one by one, a scathing look held behind those orbs. He hated them. Those who were good, kind, evil, nasty. Everyone of them logged in his mind as an inferior, an idiot, inconsequential to his well being. He resisted the urge to spit at them, curse their existance. The raging emotions inside were hidden only to those who overlooked it.
He had been taken from the promise of the shelter, by the promise of defeat. Devon with his 'friends'.. Ravyn sneered. They had run him off, sticking their noses in places it did not belong, and now he was hungry and had to pay for his food. Serving of food was over for the shelter. The smells of the marketplace were making his stomach tense up. This was unsettling. He went to a nearby vendor and ordered an easily edible snack of a burger and a bottle of water. He grabbed it from the man, eating quickly and began on the bottle of water to wash the greasy taste out of his mouth from the burger. He then felt he needed to brush his teeth. He ignored that fact and finished the bottle of water, throwing it in the trash.
He shook his head back and and again something caught his eye. A head of blond hair, a tightly bound corset? Surely it couldnt be. It was. Aimee. That vixen. He felt a smile pull at the edges of his lips for the first time since he had met with her last. He walked up behind her, settling easily on one foot and rocking all of his weight on that side. He crossed his arms, watching her crunch on her nachos. " Miss me?" He asked in a soft and sultry tone, waiting for her to turn around. " Its been a while...Aimee."

Keen thoughts indeed. How was it that the moment she thought about the shadowy figure in the fog and just a split of a second later the very voice to whom she was thinking, be heard in her ear? Aimee thought for just a moment as the chips she just took a nibble on, finished and she quickly used her pinky to make sure that there wasn't anything on her face, but couldnt help the grin that appeared on her face was highened with the voice near her neck. It literally sent chills down her spine as she lowered the chips down to get them out of her way. The drink in the hand with the chips as well went down.
Turning around slowly, she moved her hair out of her face to see the face that haunted her thoughts every day.
Miss me? What could Aimee say? He left an impression on her that was more than just simply meeting someone you would forget as soon as their body was out of range. He seemed more. He seemed to have made such an impression on her memory that it claimed itself to be a constant reminder. With a tilt of her head she looked him over, staring at him as if it were a dream. "Miss you? And missing you how? As a powerful foe? or maybe, as a gifted friend?" Aimee started to say. "... and I must admit as well.. been a while? Been creating fog illusions for anyone lately, or was I just lucky that day?" She asked taking a step away from him, throwing the chips away but keeping the drink. "Too salty. I swear, they want to harm you with their food..." She added as a quicky reflex to horrid humor.

He knew she would turn, knew she had to face him. The thought pleased him. His face seemed neutral as she smiled at him. "Missing me as a friend..a foe..maybe more." He said softly, stepping up to her, smelling the faint smell of nachos as she spoke, and wondered if she could smell the burger. Again he cursed the mundane food, but had no real fondness for bad breath to say the least. He looked down at her, so close that his long black hair mingled with her long blond hair. Yin and Yang, light and dark, good and evil? Maybe.. His hand brushed her side as he he backed away, glancing around at the people pressing up against them on all sides.
"Horrid people." He said murmuring under his breath. He sighed. "What brings you to the heart of the lions den? The marketplace that is." He asked, giving her all of his attention now.

Missing me as a friend..a foe..maybe more.
Maybe more? In your dreams.. but who knows what could happen? He doesn't look that bad... I'm kidding myself, he's better than that. What makes him so confident about that statement? I would like to know... Aimee felt him touch her side then backing away and at that moment she noticed that he had gotten so close that their hair seemed to be matching of different colors. With him stepping back, she was able to notice the people around again, taking note of the crowded nature the place seemed to have gotten since she had gotten there.
"Well.. the lions den? Hum.. Although it seems as though noone is getting mauled by the hungry customers, but I just thought I'd try my luck at trying to find something special... or someone... perhaps?" She tilted her head for a moment and turned away from him for a moment as she took one last sip of her fountain drink and tossed it in the garbage. "So... what brought you here. Searching for something as well? Just wondering, but have you found it yet?" She said as she flexed her fingers out and turned back toward him.

Dark silver eyes roamed over her as she turned from him. An eyebrow raised in questioning. "Looking for someone?" He asked, his long legs crossed at his ankles, a small smile touching his lips. " Who would that someone be?" He asked, a hint of amusement and curiousity laced in with his words. He leaned against a stand that held his weight. The warm breeze brought the smells of the marketplace. Most of the smells threatened to bring tears to his eyes. Burning food and sweating people, covered with smells of candles and aromas of sweet foods mixed to bring a nauctious smell to the couple.
The breeze also blew Ravyn's hair, sending it waving off to the right, shining with a bluish light where it was hit by the sun. He frowned as strands of hair began to block his vision, and watched the wind play with Aimee's hair as well. " I was here looking for food. I see I have come across something particularly more interesting and occupying." He said softly in a measured tone. His head turned as he watched a young boy being chased playfully by his mother. That deepened the frown. Is that how a mother and son acted? Ravyn wouldnt know. A pang of jealousy made him avert his gaze once more bringing his sights to Aimee.
