Back to my home......in the hollow of a tree....

Mezzidok walked through the forest, wearing his usual captain's uniform now. He started around with his strange black eyes, catching birds feeding their young, the worms which would be eaten by the young, trees rustling....wildlife. His home. He hadn't been back to his home here in awhile. He smiled a little.

He had carved a hole in a large tree, then squeezed himself in, and slept. Amazing how in touch he was with the wild ten years ago....and now...he wasn't sure. It was still his evident home because he was part tiger, but this place...with an essence of war around it, it just wouldn't be the same. He headed for the tree he slept in, and saw it burned. Obviously not spared.

He beacme a little angered at this, but shook it away, knowing anger only led to the beast inside him.... He slumped on the tree, looking around, just taking in everything with his advanced smell and hearing.

Rein walked slowly through the forest in a surprisingly good mood. All was quiet. She stood still closing her eyes. She listened to the wind in the trees. It made her calm. Almost as calm as she was when she was near water, but not quite. She continued listening for a while just listening to the birds chirp and the wind blow.

She finally opened her bright blue eyes. They scanned the area calmly. She turned and continued walking. Her eyes were fluttering everywhere but not in a scared way. In a curios way. She looked around at everything like someone seeing it for the first time. Maybe cause this was one of her first times just being in a forest.

Mezzidok smelled something....a person and...water. She had a scent of it on.....he smelled some more and concluded it was a girl. He had learned to pick up subtle differences between different sexes. He jumped onto the tree he was slumping against, then seemed to flit quickly to the next. He had just turned into mist quickly and quietly. Almost like transportation, but mist was pretty visible in a place like this.

He flitted quickly in and out like this until he found her, but remained hidden in deep branches and leaves, checking her out....know any potential enemies...he shook his head. What was he saying? She seemed harmless. A harmless girl. Kinda cute too....either way, people still weren't all that comfortable when they found out claws weren't part of his powers. "Yeah. I just have a living tiger inside of me ready to bite your head off or turn you into mist if you anger me. Yeah. Were- sabretooth tiger gene and all." He thought sarcastically. He had to suppress a mad laugh.

Kujitsu walked through the forest. Some of it was still ok. But alot of it was burnt. But none the less, he walked on.

He was still getting used to the place. And Kujitsu was useless at any form of remembering where he went. SO, in essence, he was lost. Utterly lost.

Still, being an optimist, he carried on. He fell a couple of times, but carried on anyway. He eventually reached a small grove with a few trees. He could of sworn he seen someone on a tree, but just to make sure..

"Hello?" he called, "SOmeone there?"

Rein looked around sensing presences. She looked around her blue eyes flitted from place to place. her right hand fumbled with her bracelets. She stretched and called out. "You can come out you know. I promise not to bite." She said not knowing the irony.

Her black hair blew softly in front of her face. Her blue eyes were alert. Her body was ready to fight if it had to. She continued fiddling with her bracelets. There soft clinking broke the silence. She stood there looking blankly into the woods.

He came down from the tree and muttered to himself"Yeah but I might if I get angry." As he came closer. Then he heard a guy voice and said "Two people here actually. Cat-man and Water Lily." He yelled back sarcastically, remembering the time some chemical controller called him Cat-man

. He could have sworn that he would have been just as sarcastic as he was, instead replacing cat with snake if he was in his position. He shook his head and said. "Mezzidok. Not at all sure how I should feel to meet you." He said in an honest voice. "I would shake your hand and all except...." He held out his claws, crooking them back and forth.

Rein smiled at his 'water lily comment." Its not Water Lily its Rein." She joked. Her eyes looked at his claws. They interested her. It flashed in her eyes. "Interesting." She mumbled under her breath.

She scanned him up and down with her bright blue eyes. Finally her eyes met his. "Well I dont know how I'm supose to feel either." She said smiling softly. "Just don't try to claw me to death and I think I'd be happy." She said brightly. She was in a good mood and nothing could bring her down.

He winced at the clawing her to death joke, knowing full well that if something caught him off guard, surprised or angered him, it could full well happen. He shook his head, then summed up her....hmmm..."Nice bracelets you got there." He said with a grunt, nodding toward them. "V.I.E.....what? Is that your mother or father's initial's or something or the caompany that made them?" He asked, then remembering curiosity had killed the cat. Ahh who gave a damn. Cats had nine lives anyways. "And yeah...I guess they are a bit interesting." He said, hooking them again, making them less than an inch next to his skin.

His wince did not go unnoticed. She made a mental note.'No claw jokes,' She stared at him carefully. He looked cautious about something. She listened closely to his bracelet comment trying to think of how to say it. "It stands for Very Important Experiment. She said slowly. It was my I.D. bracelet back at the lab." She said quietly. Her eyes lost their emotion only for a second. She smiled brightly at him. A wind blew her hair in front of her face yet again.

Walking over caustiously, Kujitsu approached the two people. "Hey" he said. Then he peered at both the other two. One had claws, and he couldn't suppress a "Nice claws" and the other was a girl. He had to force himself from saying something about her. But he managed none the less. "So... Im Kujitsu!" he waved his hand and hand a rather strange smile on his face. With a sort of cheesey "hehhe" coming out of his mouth as he did so.

He looked between the two, and was easily irked. Too...happy. More like perky. Yeah. Cheesy smile dude, and I got tortured in my youth, but I'm gonna act like it never happened and have a smile on my face all the time girl. Yes. Very irksome. He looked between them, finding if it got more annoying, he might get angry, and he just had his uniform cleaned. No need for new bloodstains to appear on it. He grunted, then started walking away saying "I'm outta here."

Noticing the guy left, Kujitsu decided that he would go back to looking around. So he ran of in the distance very fast, yelling a "see ya around!" back at the area where he was.
