Zodi sighed, a very human action that she had gained from the human brain implanted in her thick metal skull. She sat down on a bench across from the main admissions building. She knew nothing of the girl that she had come so far to find. She had felt that maybe she would hunger for knowledge and would come to the school to aquire it. But she had the appearance of a small child, they wouldnt admit her.
Zodi shook her head. Usually her logic was sound. She no longer knew what to do, as the signal that connected her conscience to the small girl had slowly declined until it was only a feeble annoyance in the back of her mind. She closed her eyes, leaning back until her head hung over the edge of the bench, her long brown hair, still in pigtails, brushed the ground easily. She didnt care.
Her knees touched touched, but her legs spread out from the knee down, feet angled in. She sat keeping her dignity, but showing carelessness as well. What was anyone going to do to her anyway? She shook her head slowly, feeling her hair sway back and forth against the ground, stirring up little whirlwinds of dust. What to do now?
She glanced back through slitted eyes at the admittance building as she thought back to that conversation she had with the admittance clerk..or assistant, whatever name she gave herself.
"A little girl?"
"Yes, looks to be around ten years old, blond hair, almost white in tint, red eyes, stands about this tall." She said, using her hand to show about right to her shoulder. Using technical terms would probably only confuse the lady. She stood in a professional manner, looking with a straight face to the woman that thought she had lost her mind.
"Im sorry, but that discription doesnt help in a place like this." She said exasperated. "Do you at least have her name and a reason why you are looking for her? Are you family?" She asked doubtfully.
"Im not family, I am an acquaintance. I need to find her, and I dont have her name.."
She was briefly turned away. She closed her eyes once more. This was hopeless..

The describtion Zodi had given was for one Mira. A cyborg much like herself who had somehow gotten out of the lab. Said cyborg was actually in the same vacinity. Little Mira had taken to wandering again, and found herself face to face with what her scan's said to be an older Serial Number Cyborg. The number was currently unknown however.
" Hyun?" She whispered, tilting her head to the side. Her red eyes featured the word 'Scaning' scrolling across the front. The small girl, human in appearence and only half inside, tilted her head the other way, still looking Zodi over. " Hello." She finally stated, after giving up the search of what number this girl was.
As far as Mira knew, she was the only remaining Serial Number Cyborg left. Infact, Mira had come to terms that she wouldn't run into her fellow cyborgs until the government took to making new and more advanced ones. However, she couldn't help feeling some form of joy at the sight of what her scanners said was a fellow Government Manufactured Cyborg.

Zodi paused. Her entire body went still. She leaned her head up slowly, almost looking painful. Right before her was the very person she had been looking for. She could feel something intruding in her database. Yes, this definitely was the girl she was looking for. Her tail twitched, in sync with her ears as she studied the girl. No doubt in her mind. She sat up just as slowly, her eyes scanning the little girl much as she had done to Zodi. A smile formed on her face, small and tentative. "Hello." She returned the greeting.
She stood up, only about a foot taller than the girl, and leaned down to study her ears and tail that were strikingly similar to hers. She grinned then. "I would say that I have finally found you. But it seems that you have done that." She said in a pleasant tone. "I am Serial Number 2. Or Zodi. " She said, putting a hand on one of the bands that hid the numbers from which she had derived her name.

" I Serial Number 7, or Mira." The small girl said, ear twitching, and the soft hum of her engines bringing it to life. " You look for me?" Questioned the small being. She seemed so confused. " Though Serial Numbers 1-6 distroyed." The small girl went on to say, Her red eyes finished the marquee that had once read Scanning and flashed IDENTITY CONFIRMED before the white words disappeared.
" Bad, English. Appologies." The girl said, taking note that Zodi had a much better understanding on using and speaking english. Mira felt obsolete, though she herself was the last Serial Number Cyborgs to be created. " I newly woken. Slept long time. Scientists forget compile word bank or program voice pattern." Explained the machine as best she could. Her words were still very slow and her voice still seemed like a whisper.
Something that probably would never change. Her manor of speaking and how slow her words seemed to be. It was a voice pattern that Mira herself had designed, one that would be less subtle and make noticing the fact she was cyborg less obvious.

*just as a btw, the cbox isnt loading for me! *Sniff**
Zodi nodded as the girl seemed to process the information. "1 through 6 destroyed?" Zodi thought for a moment and nodded once more, but this time it was a short and sure nod, just a slight leaning of her head. She decided to answer all of Mira's questions the easy way. She leaned forward. This girl really was innocent, just a young child. For a moment Zodi was glad she killed all of those men when she did.. She reached over to her other hand, flipped a spot that flipped open. "Seems awkward, but if you mind? Do you have an access port for a 6 point cable? Do you know? I can show you everything instead of trying to explain it all." She said, pulling out of her arm a cord with six prongs. The information of when she found Mira for the first time compiled in a file that she would send to her for opening and reviewing.
...set to find a brain. Someone smart.. They retrieved it.. the hard way of course.. tracking someone down, taking it out while she was still alive and inserting it into the cyborg, wiring it up to a system that allowed it to move the body parts, have general thought processes, and little wires ran from the creases of the brain to different body parts.
The girl sat straight up, gasping as if she had been suffocating the whole time she was standing in the corner. She whipped her head around, seeing the men around her and she went ballistic. She killed them all, leaving them in a bloody heap in their own lab. She missed one.. One that stayed over in the corner, hiding and cowering in fear. He would continue the projects that much was sure, but until then, Zodi was out of there. She left, unsure where to go and what to do. She ran into another room, seeing that she was not the only project they had been working on. They had taken humans and put in different metal parts and designed them to their liking.. instead of starting from metal like they did her. She took in sight of them all, especially one small girl with blond hair and red eyes, and took off out of the lab. She would come back for them.. She would.. after she found out how to.
Three years, and almost an entire life's worth of knowledge now stored in her memory, Zodi came back to find the girl, but found the entire lab had been destroyed.. everyone was gone..even the little girl.. She swore she would find her..and find her she would.. Serial Number 7.. Why had she taken such an interest even she didnt know.. She thought about that girl, and honed in on a signal that she put out, possibly unconsciously. That is where Zodi headed..
"Do not worry that your syntax is not in order, I recieved mine from a brain that is not mine to own. Your knowledge will be hard sought, but it will be your own."

Her eyes read 'Searching For Appropriate Port...', the words scrolling across the red glassy surface in white lettering. It stopped, flickered and changed to 'Avalible Port Found...Relaying Information..' which continued to scroll until Mira stood straighter and leaned her head forward. A small hand reached back at a square line drawn at the base of her neck, where the spinal cord met the neck. A finger pushed gingerly and the small patch of synthetic skin swung open to reveal the proper port.
" Point 6 port." Mira said, eyes on the ground as she waited for Zodi to connect with her. " Brain is my own, yes. Mira half machine." Explained the small girl. " Found by Bane. Bane care for me. Is friend." Mira continued. It was her brief refresher to both herself and a little memo for Zodi.

Zodi nodded approvingly. She hooked the cable into the back of the girls neck and fed the information through. While she did, she decided to talk to the girl. "I have traveled far, seen much, but have taken in much knowledge stored in the brain of a rather intellegent woman. It was wrongfully taken, but I did what I could to defend her lost honor. I had the knowledge previously, something you did not, so again, no need to feel worried about your lack of knowledge. Your brain is your own, and you have the normal knowledge of a young child. You will learn though, you are quite brilliant. You know how to control your mind quite well. I saw you searching for the port as well as the affirmation to my identity. I am not worried that you had to find that out for yourself instead of just trusting my word, it is important to stay on your feet and keep watch out for any falseness in the world.."
*sorry so short*

" I cautious because Bane said so." Mira's eyes seemed to shutdown and loose that red coloration. Her mind raced as the images and files ran through her processor and allowed her the knowledge of what happened in tha time frame. Mira remained silent until the feed ended. " Scientests were bad people, they shouldn't have done what did." She nodded her head slowly as she stood up and her eyes flickered into that red color once more.
" Thank you for share." Mira smiled. " You look for me. Nice of you. Zodi didn't have too." The small girl said, a smile on her face as her tail flicked to life and happily danced behind her a little. " You have human heart? Or Artifical like Mura?" Questioned the small girl as Zodi's point 6 cord was ejected from the port. " Serial Number Project blueprints missing from Mira's Database. Erased by someone." Mira explained, generally when a new Serial Project was created, the cyborg was given the blueprints and schematics of the past models.

Zodi's smile formed while Mira talked, but faded slowly. Someone had erased her memory database? When did they have time to do that? She had seen the state the girl was in and hated herself then for not taking the time to retrieve the little girl when she had a chance. Zodi didnt even bother to look through hers, knowing that she was such an early version that no past or newer schematics were placed in her memory, as they didnt exist while she was there. The first experiment was such a failure they failed even to mention it at all, even while they were creating Zodi. She shook her head, letting her long brown hair fly left to right. "Memories of such blueprints were never recieved by me. As soon as they realized that I was a success, I destroyed the ones I could get ahold of, the other scientist got from my grasp by hiding I was told, so no information was fed through to me after that of course." But then again, what about the models that were created before you? Did you recieve knowledge of that? Is that how you were able to confirm my identity?" She asked curiously.
"And no, I have no heart. I am just a hollow shell it seems."She said, slapping her chest hard enough to hear a hollow thudding sound.
