A picnic... what a wonderful thing to do for today. I've been dating this woman for at least two weeks and it's been so enjoyable. Such an intelligent woman, I must be very lucky to be dating her. I just hope today, we can spend a little bit more time together cause of school and stuff, it's been hard to see her and I just want to enjoy her company today. I can't wait to get to the park, and I can set up the picnic. I know she's going to enjoy it.
A subconscious smile appeared on his lips as they pulled into the parking lot of the park. It was very quiet, just a few people there, but instantly he looked over at Julianna, seeing her wonderful face. "Wait rigth there." He told her. She had no idea that they were going on a picnic today, but she merely thought that they were just going to hang out at the park. What a surprise he had in store for her.
He got out of the car, brushing his black hair out of his face and got to her side of the car, opening the door. "My love... We have began our wonderful day..." He helped her out of the car and as soon as she had gotten out of the car, Seiko went to the trunk of the car and took out a picnic basket and showed it to her. "I thought today, instead of taking you out to eat or something, that we might enjoy the beautiful day today and just get some fresh air, with some little goodies that I've made. How about it?" He asked her going beside her and taking her hand into his.

Well, thoughts wise, they couldn't agree more. For Julianna had many thoughts about how school made going on dates hard and how the day was amazing and that she was truly happy dating Seiko. The man had even accompanied her to the 7month end check-up. Here she was about a week or two into her 8th month a pregnency. However that didn't matter, the child would come in it's own time. Upon seeing the picnic basket, Julianna gave a whole-hearted smile.
" A Picnic!? Sounds like a superb idea, Darling." She said with a smile as she held his hand with that smile never faltering. How could it? In the last two weeks Seiko had surpassed the father of Julianna's unborn child. He had seen past the fact that his girlfriend was pregnent with her ex's child. Infact, Seiko didn't even seem to mind, and tended to take good care of both Julianna and her large stomach. By nature, Julianna had figured, he was a sweetheart.
" Where are we going to sit?" She asked curiously. Hoping that if it was on the ground he would be willing to assist her in sitting down and standing back up. Although, the thought of him saying something like that made Julianna almost want to laugh.

Seiko saw the light in her eyes when she saw the picnic basket and for a brief moment Seiko mentally knew that the picnic was an excellent idea. He held her hand and started to walk with her and leaned over giving her a kiss on the cheek and then looked around for a spot to sit down with her to enjoy their lunch together. "Well, why don't you pick the spot, but I think that - that the spot over by the tree, with the shade would be good huh?" He asked as he walked over in that direction then back at her. For just a glimpse he looked at her stomach and thought about the child that was inside of the woman that he had fallen in love with. He doughted himself many times when he wasn't in the presence of her about his role in the childs life, knowing that he wasn't the 'father' of this child. He knew that the 'real' father wasn't around to take care of the woman or take responsibility of the baby, but he felt like the child needed a father figure in her life, so he was willing, with Julianna's permission, to act upon that feeling. Growing up, his father passed away and he knew what it was like NOT to have that father to help you grow. To pick you up when you fell or to spend 'Fatherly' time with.
Even though the child was a girl, he knew that she would still love to have a father figure and Seiko hoped everyday that he would be in the childs life.
Reaching the spot that he felt the best about being able to sit on, he put down the picnic basket and took out the sheet and lay it out for them then he went over to Julianna. "Here, let me help you, okay?" He asked as he placed a hand on her stomach to feel the rounded cargo like he had gotten used to. He loved the feel of her stomach, knowing that a child was going to be born soon and he devoted his feelings to taking care of her and the child even though he hadn't even dated her but more than two weeks.

It wasn't exactly her choice of location. But, then again, she didn't seem to mind as she smiled at the touch on her stomach. " Well. Here's as good a place as any." She laughed and lay her own hand ontop of his. A soothing touch indeed, it was something she could get used to. The idea of having someone massaging her stomach once in a while, cherishing the infant inside, was a wonderful idea and warmed her heart. All Julianna hoped wast that after the child was born, Seiko would still stay by her side. That he wouldn't leave her, that would be a bit heartbreaking. It was almost certain that in the short period of time they had spent together, Julianna had fallen in love with him.
" Thank you." With help she lowered herself to the ground and sat as comfortably as possible. Dark Hazel eyes wandered to a small family playing and she couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealous. That was what Julianna wanted for Takara, her unborn daughter. A day where the two can go to the park with the man that loved them both. Mentally, unaware of it herself, her mind had decided that Seiko would be the one to play with them.
" That's what I want." She said with a smile, nodding her head in the direction of the family who were laughing and having fun as a unit. " My child to live happily with the people that love both her and me." Added Julianna. It was something that she said out of mere thought, not exactly meaning anything by it. But maybe deep down, hidden in the words, she did mean something by it. It was always kind of hard to tell at times. She smiled warmly at Seiko and patted the spot beside her, motioning for the handsome man that had stolen her heart to sit.
" What are we having?" Came her curious question, eyes giving the basket a suspicious look. " I'm Hungry." Added Julianna with a soft laugh as she rubbed her stomach to add emphisis on the fact her last meal was about 2 hours ago.

Seiko helped her sit on the sheet and watched as her eye's went over to the family on the other side of the park from them. He let his eyes stare at them without meaning too, taking in the fact of the father playing with the child. Is that how it was going to be with Julianna and him? Would their relashionship last that long? He always wondered about that, but never thought the situation would be there for him to contemplate it.
That's what I want... my child to live happily with the people that love her The words stuck in his head... Is that her wish? For someoen to love both her and the child, Takara? He wondered about the way she spoke that sentence coming to the conclusion that she must have been talking about him being part of the family. Who knew what could happen in the future?
"Julianna... I do beleive that your child will be loved, by her mother and I'm sure that when the time comes, there will be that father figure for her to grow up with..." He added hoping that he just might be that father figure. He didn't want to get his hopes up so soon in the relationship, knowing that his previous ones never lasted. THen again, he never felt this strongly to someone before. Taking just one last look at the happy family across the park, he took Julianna's wanting and sat beside her and taking the basket in his hands he teasedher by opening the basket on his side and smelling it. "Umm... It smells so good. I bet it tastes good too... Why, whoever would I share this with?" He couldn't help but laugh at this and closed the lid. "Oh, Julianna? Would you like to share this wonderful basket with me?" He took her hand in his for a moment and just couldn't help it. He kissed the top of her hand as his eyes stared deeply into hers. "I've got.. Turkey sandwiches... chips... I've got some cookies... I made them last night, but I'm not the best baker.. so, I wouldn't be embarressed if you don't like them. ANd... for the drinks... just two cans of coke..." He raised his eyebrow at her to see her reaction. He truely didn't know if she even liked turkey sandwiches, but it was the thought that counts right?

" I think I've already found one. But, I'm not telling you who." Julianna said teasingly, smiling almost devilishly. Of course she had meant him as that father figure. Who else would she have play it? The child was due in a month. She hoped their relationship would definately outlast a month or so. In fact, Julianna wanted it to outlast her previous relationship and have it be much more memorable. Come to think of it, it already would be if he stuck around long enough for the child to be born. Ah! Well, food was taking over her thoughts. Quickly, might I add.
" Aw, come on now. Asking me such a silly question. OF cours e I want some!" She reply, watching him kiss her hand. Ah, he knew how to make a woman feel like she ruled the world or something. Well, it was only fair to return such a nice geasutre. Turning his face with one hand she ran her hands down it soothingly before planting a kiss on his lips, soft and swift. It was her way of returning that sauve little kiss on the hand. Plus, he was irresistable anyways.
" Now, Turkey sandwiches sound amazing. Can I have one please?" She asked casually dropping her hand back to her stomach. " Please?" She asked again, her voice almost begging. A growl, low and loud, was heard from her stomach and Julianna pouted. " Pleaaasseee." She added on, hand landing on his softly.

"Now, now... that's not fair.. you gotta tell me who. No Secrets!" He teased with her again. A thing he has found quite useful with her is he liked to tease her, and she never took it against him. With a single shrug, he noticed that her attention was turned to the food and he reached in grabbing two sandwich bags that held a sandwich in each and then he placed the bag of chips out and the cookies to the side. "Well, there we have it. Our spread for lunch. I really do hope that it tastes alright. I spent quite some time last night preparring the menu, but it's kinda hard, when I didn't know what kind of food that you like. You'd think I'd know you by now!" He said matter-of-factly to her. Handing the sandwich to her, he in turn took one of his own and waited till she took the first bite before beginning himself. Ladies first.. in everything... mother always told me. I would never go back on my mothers teachings. He let his thoughts interrupt the present timing but returned his attention back to Julianna.
A sigh of releif was released when he was able to lean back on his arm and rest. He propped himself up, making sure that one hand was free to hold the sandwich, but his eye's never let Julianna. How could his eye's be taken off something so dear to him? Laughter across the park direction his attention to the family again, seeing the family with the child run around. He let a smile appear on his face as he took another heaping bite of his sandwich. "I can't wait until your daughter gets that age. To run around and play... Wonderful times I bet!" He stated in a half whispered tone, and while he got the change, he let his hand he used to prop up his head, rest on her stomach waiting to feel the child move. In the past when he first got comfortable to touch her stomach, he never could feel the child, but waited for the day to feel the movments.

" Well, I will give you one hint. You know him!" She said with a smirk, teasing him right back. She took the sandwich, said her little words and smiled as she bite into it. " OH, it's wonderful." Nodded Julianna, satisfied with the outcome of Devon's hard work. It was very well made and tasted fantastic. Turkey wasn't her FAVORITE thing but she wasn't going to ask for a traditional japanese hotpot. This was good enough anyway. She'd settled with it.
" Of course it will be wonderful. By then I hope to have her talking and have lots of fun!" Laughed Julianna as she felt his hand upon her stomach. It must have been his touch that brought Takara into action. For, at his touch, the child kicked softly here and there. "Oh! I think she likes you!" LAughed Julianna as she placed her own hand atop his and moved it to the proper place. " See? She's telling you to wait a little longer, I think." Laughed Julianna with a smile, leaving her hand atop his while the other brought the sanwhich to her lips for another bite.

Seiko closed his eye's for a moment after putting the sandwich down, not really caring to eat at the moment and he listened to Julianna's voice. He was in heaven listneing to her voice and the feel of her hand on his that was on her stomach. "Well, since I know him.. It shouldn't be hard to find him. I might have to give him a stern talking to, to make sure he's going to take care of her... make sure the child grows up the right way. To know that their loved by this 'guy'." He had a feeling that she was talking about him, but he kept on playing the game with her. A sudden jerk in her stomach made his eye's pop open and he jerked his head a little looking up to Julianna at the surprise. "I felt her! I actually felt her.. That's awsome!" He said in the best manly form he could. He was excited to finally feel the bundle of joy inside of her stomach. "Hello Little Takara..." He let a smile appear over his lips as he felt the child kick. "Wow, well I think that's one smart little girl you got there!"
For a moment he kept staring at his hand and hers on top of his, with the feeling below both of their hands. It was amazing what the feeling was like at this moment and knew that he would want to spend his life with them. Sharing something this special made his traditional family upbringing reminded him that family meant everything. "So.. do you think that I should stay longer... I mean, if you want me in your life.. I will be there for you. Just say the word Julianna. Whatever you decide.. I will honor anything you say..." He sat up near her and his eye's met hers. "I... love you, Julianna!"

" It can't be hard to find him. He's so very close to me right now." Julianna hinted again, a smile on her face as she listened to him talk about the child. He could feel it and was so excited about it. Who wouldn't be? It was a pretty cool feeling to others but felt kind of weird to Julianna. She really wouldn't get used to feel the tiny feet push on her insides. As Seiko went on about staying and such she was about to say something but stopped at his final sentance.
With eyes locked, she looked almost at peace with it, as she didn't exactly know how to react. Did he really just say that? No, he didn't. Julianna, your mind just wants you to think about things you desire. Don't let this bother you. But...he's looking at me, seriously. He had to have said it. He did. I'm sure he did. OH GLORIOUS DAY! Her mind was flipping, dancing and singing with glee and she finally actually reacted. " Of course I want you to stay as long as possible. Why wouldn't I when I love you?" She asked causally as a hand rested on the side of his face, not the one that was atop his, and her lips met his softly.
" My sweet Seiko, I'd never want you to leave me or Takara." Julianna said, upon letting his and her lips part. Her forehead rested upon his as she smile, eyes closing as if in thought." You've got to help me give Takara a sibling, you know." She added, seriously yet jokingly all at once. Who would want to be an only child? Julianna was, and there was no one to ever really play with. Especially when everyone knew your grandfather was a Yakuza Boss. A rather dull life, Julianna had to admit.

Seiko smiled at her words yet again, hearing that the man wasn't far away. I knew it... He started to think in his head as he watched her reaction to his last sentence. He wondered what she would say about what he just asked and confessed to her. He NEVER felt the need to say those three words to any of his previous ex's and knew that this one was different in so many ways. How could he tell the difference? He just knew.
Seiko watched nervously as she seemed to be struck with stillness and he knew she was thinking, but what was she thinking? Did she love him back as much as he loved her at this moment? He wanted to spend al th etime in the world with her. Spend time with her when the baby is born. To take care of her and make sure that she is well to do with everything that might she need.
Of course I want you to stay as long as possible. Why wouldn't I when I love you Did she just say it back? When I love you... when I love you... when I LOVE YOU... Seiko felt as if the world had halted on his behalf, allowing him to be in aww as he stared at the woman he loved but the feel of her lips on his made him come back to the world and heard what he said to her.
I never want you to leave me or Takara. A shock to Seiko's system. "Really? Well, then I can't go back on my word. I told you I would honor any wish that you said. I won't leave you Julianna... but a sibling?" He had to give a laugh. "How about you get through the first one first?" He added as he kept on hand on her stomach and the other one repeated what she just did, and he let his lips brush past hers for a second before really kissing her.
Well, I never expected to fall in love this soon. But if anything else happens between us.. I will have to get that symbol that everyone uses here... that go on the finger... He broke the kiss a moment later to take a breath and to look at Julianna. "I really love you Julianna, but I just don't know how to say it anymore than that..." He said as he leaned back in to her and kissed her passionatly.

" Hmm, you don't have to say it. I got it loud and clear, sweetheart." She laughed softly before he kissed her once more. Ah, c'est L'amour, obviously. Her hand found his neck, keeping his face close to her own for sometime. The picnic pretty much lay forgotten before them. Hey, they kind of got distracted, what do you want them to do? Though, she was still hungry she allowed the kiss to go on for sometime before breaking it.
" That delightful kiss would have lasted longer, if not for the grumblings of my stomach." She laughed softly kissing him briefly once more as if she didn't want to forget the taste of his lips. With a smile, Julianna ran her hands softly through his hair before turning to grab her sandwhich and take a bite. " Eh. Childbirth. I forgot that I hear it's no fun." Sighed Julianna. " But oh the light at the end of that tunnel is truly sent to bring happiness." Smiled the woman, thinking about the pain that would insue her going to the hospital to deliver the baby. Cringing a little she shook away that thought and smiled.

Seiko laughed slightly as she mentioned the kiss being long if not for her stomach. Could he blame her? She was a little more than eight months pregnant. He truely could say that he's never been with someone under those conditions so he couldn't hold anything against her for anything. He was in for some ride huh? "Well, that's a good enough excuse for me.. cause I'm hungry as well!" He couldn't help but laugh yet again.
"As long as you don't start yelling to me when you go into labor..." He paused a moment watching for her reaction. He wasn't the 'bilogical father' of this child, so in the moment of pain, she couldn't blame him for doing it to her. Something he was happy for. Finishing off his sandwich, he reached over to grab the cookies that he made but was brought back to reality quickly as a yell was directed in Julianna's direction.
"WATCH OUT..!!" Almost as quickly as the words started Seiko reacted quickly. The family who was over across the feild was playing with a soccer ball, and the kid had kicked it at full force in their direction. In an instant, he used his powers to make himself invisible to the others as he moved infront of Julianna defleting the ball by letting it hit off of his arm. The ball bounced away going in the opposite direction as Seiko, let himself be seen again. He turned around to Julianna. "You okay?" He wasn't even sure if she saw the ball coming or not, but he was glad that he was there.

" I can't yell at you. You aren't the one who did this to m-" She was caught off by the soccerball that had been hurtling towards her. When Seiko reappeared she heaved a sigh, having seen him disappear. " Yeah. I'm alright. Are you?" She asked, motioning for him to sit back down. Grateful as she was, Julianna was still worried that Seiko may have gotten hurt by the happenings. " Thank you, by the way." She added, smiling.
No, no, she wouldn't have blamed him for something he hadn't done. Why would she yell at Seiko while giving birth? Maybe for him to call her 'family' or something. But, for 'Doing that to her'? Julianna wanted to laugh at the idea that popped into the head. An image of her, in labor, all sweaty and gross. Seiko beside her. Then she starts screaming ' IHATE YOU I HATE YOU YOU DID THIS TO ME.' Seiko shakes his head and has a joking little smirk on his face. 'Ooooh no i didn't. That guy left, remember?'. She'd go quiet and say 'Oh yeah.'
The idea was comical, however now did not seem to be the time to burst into a fit of laughter. He just took a soccerball for her. How heroic!

Seiko's eye's looked upon Julianna, his eye's showing concern for her well being. As the ball went a different direction the kid yelled out an apology as well as the father. Seiko waved to them to let them know it was alright knowing now that Julianna was fine. "Well, I'm doing good now!" He told her as he felt the sting in his arm go away quickly and took her motion to sit down with her. He smiled at the thanks.
"No problem at all. Couldn't let my woman get hurt!" He leaned back on his arms, letting himself rest for the moment trying to get his rythm back. Watching the family again, he saw as the kid took the ball back to his family and then his father saying something to him. "Getting in trouble I suppose?" A second later the boy sat down as the Father and mother took the ball beside them and sat with the boy. "Ah, the troubles of parent hood. Well, this day has been great I guess? Nothing really to do... except eat, but right now I don't feel like eating.. I dunno?" He closed his eye's a moment letting his head point toward the sky. Couldn't get better?
