Harkon Retrigge walked into the coffee shop and swayed slightly as the awesome scent of coffee entered his nostrils. He breathed deeply and staggered forward, drunken by the coffee. His father had been Brazillian, and he had always had a extraordinary nose and delite for the sweet sweet coffee. He had been raised on coffee as a child is raised on juice. This had detrimentally affected his consciousness in the long term, thought by his view it had been worth it.
Totally.
He regained his balance as an expert acrobat does after a tumble and sat at a table. Near the window. Always. A waitress glided over to his table. "The usual, Harkon?" As a constant customer, he was on the first name basis with every waitress, waiter and even the manager. "Si, por favor. The usual. Gracias, Susan.." Susan smiled. "Bu...eno."
Harkon laughed at Susan's attempt at an 'Okay' and winked as she walked away, saying the word again and again. Her successes at mastering the Spanish language were few and far between, but she was trying. Another waitress - Melissa - met her halfway back to the counter and said "Bueno. It's said bueno. You got it right." Susan smiled and peeped back at Harkon. It was no secret she was fond of him, all the other waitresses and waiters knew, even the manager. She didn't know they knew, or Harkon. She was quite ignorant of the world around her.

* I just thought I would give this little thread a push eh? XD *
Ophelia moved gracefully past the doorway that swung easily on greased hinges. She smiled softly at the smell of well made coffee. It was a familiar and loved smell. It was like coming home from a hard days work, to sit in a comfortable chair near the ones you loved, a memory that Ophelia knew all too well, and missed all too much. Now all she had was her memories, but as long as she let her loved ones live on in her heart, they will never stop living.
Her long layered skirt shifted comfortably and smoothly as she walked toward her favorite booth. It was the one farthest to the door, where she could stare out at the people walking by, and where she could see all coming in the cafe. She had always been a very curious person, and she loved to see the variety of people that frequented the place as often, if not more so than she did.
A fitting light grey top matched her layered skirt, and the black pendant around her neck, sung softly to her the tune of the gifteds around her. The only time the pendant was silent was when she was by herself. It was her safety net, and she used it only in times of need. She herself did witchcraft, and wasnt exactly a true gifted, but could pass easily as one with her many simple tricks. The pendant was her only protection, and it absorbed low to medium strength gifted attacks. Inversely, it can not stop a bullet, or a knife, but that was not the weapons of choice in Dotado.
Her many bracelets and rings clicked on the tables sleek surface as she sat down. The waitress, who had earlier been preoccupied with another customer, came to take Ophelia's order. "Hi how may I help you?"
" I would like one cup of coffee, with one sugar and two creams? If you do not mind."
"I can bring you the coffee and cream, and the sugar is right next to the wall under the window." She said pointing the pencil that she had written with. Her notepad simply said Coffee, 2 cream. She smiled and walked away. As she did so, she looked once more at the guy at the other table, and her face showed she was quite smitten. Ophelia raised one sculpted eyebrow at the boy who smiled back at her. He was speaking Spanish?
"Como esta, Usted?" She asked politely, folding her arms on the table and leaning her upper body forward. "Buen espero que si."

Jonathan walked into the cafe, his steps confident, and noticable. It wasn't as though he was galloping in, however he walked with such a stride that he exuded a feeling of superiority. His features however suggested quite the opposite. He seemed calm, his face kind, his eyes lazily sweeping the small coffee shop, showing no extrodinary happiness, nor disdain. he seemed all over natural except for the manner with which he walked. He slid into a seat right next to the window and stared out groggily at the people outside. Most walked by continuing on with their lives though a few upon seeing him found themselves with memories of a past encounter and walked toward the shop, though the minute someone blocked their veiw of Jonathan, they looked somehwta baffled and walked away, forgettuing why they had walked toward the Cafe. Akum within Jonathan was quite amused by the simplicity of people, how easily they were effected by the simplest of his powers. How he longed to be able to leave jonathan and wander around, and watch as people where at each others throats. However Jonathan simply continued to watch, immensly amused by them, though his fae showed nothing more than mild satisfaction.
He ordered breifly requested a simple strait black coffee. When it came to most things about him he was usually a minimalist he found his flow as forgettable ruined when he acted or had things that were conspicuous. He slipped a sugar or too into the beverage and sipped it slowly, and occasionally, not really paying attention to it or much else.

Harkon was pleasently surprised at the woman speaking Spanish, and also the politeness in her opening sentance. Though the way she pronounced her words indicated it wasn't her first language, he was amazed that she spoke with such fluency.
"Gracias. Hacer usted hablar mucho español?" He would like it much if she did, and person fluent in Spanish was rare to come across in the United States, much less in Dotado.

Ophelia smiled softly and nodded her head. " As a witch, you come to learn many languages. Spanish, Latin, a little Japanese.." She let her hands cross on the table and glanced down at her rings. One was a fire opal, right under that was another opal that had been modified to turn different shades of blue and green. The blue one was her favorite..Ophelia shook her head. "So sorry. I get lost in thought sometimes. So you didnt answer my question. Doing good? You just said thank you, so I will take that as a yes." She chuckled slightly and waved a hand in the air as if she was just joking around. That was something that the ever serious Ophelia never did. She was having a rather pleasant day so far though, and felt that a little laughter was called for. Her eyes continously drifted around the cafe, her curiousity was never satisfied. They landed on a man that looked slightly amused, but with an all around nonchalant look settled on his features. She pursed her lips as she watched him, and again the pendant on her neck sang a tune. " So serious, but he doesnt seem to wish anyone harm." Ophelia shrugged.
"¿Cuanto tiempo has vivido en Dotado? ¿Y por qué prefieres español? ¿Es tu lengua materna?"

Jonathan truly loved how his abilities worked, how spectacularly amazing they were. He was undetectable. He looked so average that it was impossible to even assume he was doing anything remotely bad. Because he was forgotten the minute eyes were taken off of him almost nothing could be held against him. He was more invisible than someone who couldn't be seen.
he cared out the average coffee shop pleasantries, smiling casually to people as they entered then returning to his drink, though within his head quite the opposite was happening.
[glow=red,2,300]/Justdo something, you won't be found, you can have anything, do anything, you have me here, you have my abilities, attempt something, anything/ [/glow]
/I'm quite content with my drink thank you./
/[glow=red,2,300]For me? please?/ [/glow] Within his head the image of a large bipedal Hyena was attempting to force him into doing nearly anything chaotic. Typical oni. before most spirits went into creature they managed to send messages through to people. The oni tended to reach the Aztecs, where they demanded blood, and quite often human sacrifice. They were vile entities, even if they were smart.
/No/
[glow=red,2,300]/thenit seems we have reached an impass/ [/glow] A thin layer of fur began to form around one of Jonathan's hands. It wasn't quite noticable to people just yet, although his nails were begining to strech out, and become a black color, much more like a claw.

Harkon was not taken aback by the woman's announcement; he had met many witches in Spain. He looked at the woman. "I have lived here for about a year now. I only left Spain for... obvious reasons." As he said this he raised his hand and passed it directly through the table. He wiggled his fingers and brought it out from under it.
He took a sip of his coffee as he sighed. The action had not taken much effort, but caffeine kept him on his game. "Esto adicción querer matar mi vida." He muttered too himself.
