Whats that you say? The weddings tomorrow?

[VEN is Back]

Ven was sitting at the base of a tree, it's roots huge, thick and knotted everywhere, creating a natural jungle gym. His figure was leaning against one of the larger roots towards the center of this display, a slim notcard in his hand from which he was reading quietly to himself.

I don't know if one can comprehend this type of feeling. A type of emotion so powerfull that it drove men to reach for the sun only to reach to get burned. An emotion so strong that the few who can play with it and not be bitten back are considered to be some of the greatest people to have ever stepped foot upon our little chunk of rock. Today I intend to join these men.

"Not much, but it's a start." Ven said to himself as the last few syllables of the vows escaped his lips. He tucked the note card into his pants pocket. The brown material lossely sagged in around the card as it entered his pocket, leaving it's shape bulging above his thigh.

He still couldn't believe that tomorrow was his wedding day, in all truthfulness he was shocked, never thought he'd actually get to this stage, and look where he was, no tux, and a jumble of cliche phrases made up his vows.

He jumped up to the top of a thick root, his back against the tree as he lay down one knee propped up for balance on the structure.

"Lets just hope it's good enough I guess."

" Well, well. Big bad Ven's getting married to Little Miss Sadima." Sighed Carmela, appearing almsot out of nowhere. She smirked, leaning herself on a tree, hiding herself in the shadow. Her top was a dark blue color, a tee shirt that was plain and simple. Her bottoms happened to be a dark pair of jeans. Seriously, nothing special about today's outfit. She hadn't really thought about what to wear, or who she was going to meet. However, that all to formiliar power burning in her brain lead her directly to Ven.

" I guess it's true, even the wicked can feel love. Hmph, could of fooled me. Oh..wait." She stopped, crimson eyes with their flecks of magenta looked up to Ven with a severe unkind glare to them. " You already did." She spat, her lip curling in a sneer as she turned her head away from him. He was out of that twenty-foot void. That place where no powers but her own seemed to work. She'd let him stay in that monsterous form.

" Such a stupid lie, and I feel for it. I guess I'm to be blamed as well, aren't I?" Asked the young woman, removing herself from the shadow. Her arms crossed over her chest, a somwhat angered expression on her face. Looking up to him, she sighed, shaking her head and it's shoulder length blond locks. " Of course I am." She muttered to herself, scoffing about something only she seemed to think.

[VEN is Back]

Ven's claws dug into the bark of the root as she approached, ever since he had that nerve ruptured he had forgotten about that plan, which apparently intended to bite him in the butt.

"Now, now come on, think about it was for the survival of a species. I was young, nieve, you wouldn't really hold that against me." Ven's voice may have sounded fearful, though it was simply because he didn't like having any female mad at him.

"I mean isn't everyone entittled to a mistake or two? It was a failed experiment, and it' not like you got that effected by it, I mean you look great!" Ven said a forced smile slipping itself onto his face.
he feet flipped backward onto the tree trunk, his hands following them so that he was standing on sheer wall looking down on her.

"If you want your welcome to come to the wedding, I mean theres no reason why you souldn't if I recall corectly you and Maeve were at least semi-friendly. No reason we can't be." he explained, holding out his flimsy peace offering in hopes she would bite.

Aurelius crunched through the forest making as much noise as he possibly could. He didn't know why he wanted to make a lot of noise. Walking alone along a peaceful trail newly walked on, his eyes looked down to his feet. Aure watched them slowly come forward, and backward as he walked on. It seemed to him like he was walking for ages. Eventually he stopped and looked up seeing two people talking to each other. He walked up closer and stood there looking at the ground not saying anything. He kicked a nearby twig, and waited for them to notice him.

" Whether it was a failed experiement, you or anyone else was nieve, and was a mistake...that doesn't neccisarily mean I'm a normal person that will forgive fairly easily. A peace offering such as attending your wedding isn't exactly that good of an offering at all." Laughed Carmela, shaking her head at him. If he attempted any ridiculous plans like the one he had concieved 10 years ago, Carmela wasn't going to help freely.

" Though Semi-friendly is how you described it, I'd say boarderline enemies as we already talked." Carmela said, with a straight, sincere and serious face. " It seems you both have a fairly twisted idea of what a peace offering is. Because she even offered me a seat in the audience." Carmela continued. She moved slightly, allowing Ven to enter that void-like presence for only a second. To give him a glimpse of humanity before moving away again, a way to show she still had that delightful gift about her.

" Stop trying to salvage what shreds of humanity you have left in you. I don't need a peace offering. Do expect me to show up and blow the chapel to pieces or something? I'm not a terrorest bent on world domination. Remember?" Her words were spoken in a sarcastic manor. However, all of it was true. She had no intend to rob the two of their wedding. Just merely felt that misery before hand might just give them an idea of what was to come. " That's your job." The words were cold, meant to show Carmela wasn't so careful about what she said anymore.

" It seems to me, however, that something isn't right for you Ven. You normally don't sit around stuck between two bodies. It's either one, only a small part of the other, or the entire other self. What happened?" She asked in a rather taunting manor as she leaned herself on the same tree she had appeared beside. She leaned back on it once more, as if nature had put it there jsut for Carmela. If Neasa had been there she probably would have scoffed, rolled her eyes and stocked off.

She sensed Aure's powers before she heard the kicked twig. She sighed, rolling her eyes, as the young woman turned her head. " Yes? Do you have business with either one of us?" Asked Carmela casually, her voice hiding the fact she was slightly irritable in general. If you asked her why, it was almsot a definate answer that Ven had seemingly ruined what ever good mood she had going on.

"Well, I suppose I don't, but I'm wondering who you are. I was walking alone to try to find a good place to make a fort for a secluded place just for me, and I saw you two talking. I guess I really don't have any business here, but may I know who you to are before I'm forced to leave?" Aurelius smiled slightly looking wise as usual. Then he looked over to the other person not making eye contact just in case. This girl looked a bit mad, so Aure did not want to get into trouble. He would most likely leave if he had to.

[VEN is Back]

"Well." Ven said eyeing the new being warily.

"There was an accident when everything blew up, a nerve was cut. Things haven't been quite the same since." Ven replied, moving further up the tree to avoid Carmela's field. Just in case.

"And who might you be my' boy?" Ven questioned from his perch, attempting to move away from the subject of his transformation. He had no desire to have someone, who already something against hi, get fodder for insults.

"New to the area? believe me you may want to be wary of the forest, it's my domain, territoy, ya know all that animalistic stuff." by now he was just blabbering, trying to put more words between where he was and what he had said.

"It seems you have caught us both at a bad time. As she is apparently seething, and I am, trapped in a rather large tree. though if you could find some way to pre occupy our little firecracker down there maybe i could come down and formally introduce myself.

" What a shame." Muttered Carmela with a smile on her face as she heard something about him and an explosion. " Don't worry Ven, I'll move to let you down." Laughed Carmela as she backed away enough to let Ven down the tree without entering her field of power negation. Firecracker? She scoffed at that statement. Looking to Aurelius she twiddled her fingers in a wave. " Carmela Ikaris, Pleasure to meet you. Whoever you are." She said rather bluntly, as the young man had forgotten to give the two of them his name.

Does everyone automatically assume that being a smart ass to the one who plained to drain you of your energy is bad? Whatever. I don't care. He deserves a few well placed insults here and there. He dishes them out like no tomorrow, the prick. Her mentality grumbled to itself, never leaving her mind. Hell those words never even got further than being a thought and a thought alone.

The screech of a large bat sounded through the air as big as a volture. It swooped down through trees, barely missed Aurelious' head and shifted into the shape of a young man just behind Aurelious. Rayner Valerious ran his hand through black shaggy hair casually. Hands graspped at the zipper on either side of his coat and straightened the black leather article a little. Said hands then proceeded to dust off his loose fitting jeans and the white tee he wore beneath the coat. " Pardon my horrible landing. It seems being a bat that large, you tend to forget your size." His voice was thick with a romanian accent as he turned to face Ven, Carmela and Aurelious.

" Of course you would forget your size, Brother." A young, musical voice spoke from the trees. A figure in a dark purple dress walked forward. She wore a gown which hide her basic pumps, the long sleeves covered all of her arms and much of her hands. The low swooping neck made the thin fabric of the dress reveal only her collarbone and much of her pale shoulders as Gabrielle smiled and walked towards the group. One hand held a black parasol above herhead, hiding the curly blond locks from the sun. The eyes matched her brothers, bright and blue. That heavy accent also was the same as her brothers, Romanian, and it strangled her words in a wonderous manor.

" Sorry if we're intruding, on your territory, sir. But, when you are out walking and hear unknown voices. Well, you tend to get curious." Gabrielle explained to Ven, using the unoccupied hand to lift up her long skirt a little and curtsey. The two oozed manors, and screamed that they were from a wealthy family. " We are the Valerious siblings. Pleasure to meet you, My name is Gabrielle." The young girl continued, releasing her skirt and allowing the gown to flow at it's usual length.

" I am her older brother, Rayner. Greetings to the three of you." The young man seemed to finish the statement, bowing at the waist with great care. He straightened out and held his arm out for his sister to take hold of. Switching the parsol to the other hand, Gabrielle's ginger fingers hid in the crook of his elbow, grasping him gently as she hid all of her skin from the sun.

As Rayner clumsily landed on the ground, Aure starred at him, not his eyes of course, but his face. He seemed to surprise Aure and he gazed at his posture, squinting his eyes as her did this. Aure didn't seem to notice, but his mouth had dropped open slightly. Oh why do I have to be gay!? I can't believe this, what am I thinking. Aure took his eyes off of Rayner's face and looked at Rayner's feet trying to keep his mind clear.

Aure was wearing his favorite white flannel shirt and his regular blue jeans. He was also wearing, as usual, his black necklace and his black gloves. He has never gone outside without those two things on himself, or else he feels empty.

"Perhaps I shall introduce myself. My name is Aurelius, but please my dear," he said now looking at Carmela's chin,"call me Aure. Nice to meet you, and thank you for not getting mad at me. Surely I haven't done anything to you." Aure quickly looked at her eyes, and back down to the ground now listening to the girl named Gabrielle talk beside him.
